Celebrating Our Social Workers

Rainbow Community Care Team

March is National Social Work Month, and we want to take some time to recognize our dedicated team of social workers at Rainbow Community Care this week.

Did you know the overall employment of social workers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2022 to 2032, faster than the average for all occupations?

We are thankful for all our social workers and what they do for our patients and families each and every day and their service throughout our communities.

"The social worker's role in hospice and palliative care is integral as we care for the 'whole person,' said Mindy Triebold, Rainbow's Director of Social Services. "Their primary role is to advocate for the patient's end-of-life wishes and provide emotional support to the patient and their family as they try to navigate their terminal or chronic condition. They are also a significant resource to their patients by helping them connect to resources for additional support or to address financial concerns. “We are fortunate at Rainbow Community Care to have such a dedicated, caring, and highly skilled group of social workers who have a heart for end-of-life care.”
