Bereavement and Grief Support

Support groups, spiritual resources and more are available to you

One of the most important and valuable benefits provided by Rainbow Hospice Care occurs after the death of a loved one.

Taking care of oneself and receiving support from friends and family is extremely important after suffering a loss. It is also often useful to access additional resources such as support groups that offer a safe, confidential place to identify and express thoughts and feelings, and gain additional perspective and comfort from those who are sharing similar experiences. This benefit is offered in many ways:

Monday Morning Joe

Our weekly support group titled Monday Morning Joe takes place every other Monday in the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center Dining Room at 8:30 a.m. Contact Robb Rennix for more information.

Grief Awareness Series

Launching our new Grief Awareness Series, these seminars and support groups are focused towards more specific areas of support.

One-on-one chats

Everyone’s situation is different. Whether on the telephone or in person, our bereavement and spiritual team is here to talk you through anything at a difficult time in your life.

In person support visits

In addition, our staff is available to set up reoccurring visits as often as you like to help you learn to cope and move forward without someone close to you. Contact Robb Rennix for more information.
