Monthly Caregiver Support Group

Are you currently caring for someone who is terminally ill?  Are you stressed and don't know where to turn for support?  Are you exhausted?  Let us help you through this difficult time.  A hospice social worker and other professionals skilled at dealing with end-of-life issues facilitate this group.  Attendees will learn such things as: 1) what to expect when death approaches, 2) how to talk to family and friends about what's happening, 3) how to ask for help when it's needed, and 4) how to make the most of the remaining time with their loved one.  More importantly, participants have an opportunity to learn from other caregivers who are experiencing many of the same difficulties.

Monthly Grief Support Groups

Rainbow Hospice facilitates grief support groups that meet monthly and are open to the public.  Attendees can expect to: 1) learn more about grief, 2) listen as others tell stories about their difficulties and successes, 3) share their story to the extent they're comfortable, and 4) utilize professionally trained support leaders to assist them in their grief journey.
