Up to now the need for sophisticated palliative care has been managed through our partnerships with Watertown Regional Medical Center and Fort HealthCare. However, there are times when a sophisticated level of care is needed, and a more home-like setting would be preferred by the patient and family. Families are currently faced with the necessity of transferring their loved ones out of the area to inpatient facilities in either Waukesha or Dane county. The additional commute into an urban setting can be impossible for families to manage. Our Inpatient Facility will provide a local solution to these challenges.
